An email sent by Wipro to freshers who were waiting to be onboarded at ₹6.5 lakh per annum has surfaced online. In the email, Wipro wrote, "Currently, we have certain project engineer roles available for recruitment with an annual compensation of ₹3.5 lakh." Wipro later said it had to adjust its onboarding plans in light of the changing macro environment.
