Ahmedabad Police have arrested Harsiddh Kadiyar, a joint custodian at the Bank of Baroda, for allegedly embezzling ₹8.7 crore. The theft was discovered after 174 reams of ₹500 notes went missing from the bank's vault. Investigators found evidence in CCTV footage, prompting further inquiries into Kadiyar's financial activities and potential involvement of his wife.
