An employee's post has sparked outrage against workplace toxicity after their request for work from home was denied after their father's demise. The employee, who took 5-day leave and 1-week WFH during father's hospitalisation, stated that on asking for WFH extension, the client manager said to finish the rituals and return to work. The payroll company also refused to help.
