Endangered golden langurs rescued from traffickers, released in Assam

Seven of the eight endangered golden langurs, which were rescued from wildlife traffickers in Assam, have been released into the wild. "The Golden Langurs have been released...at Sikhna Jwhwlao National Park after undergoing rescue, rehabilitation and careful scientific monitoring," Assam Forest Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah said. "This also sends a strong message to wildlife criminals," he added.
