Engineer builds dehydration biz, sells products at up to ₹ 1000/kg

After a career in defence manufacturing, mechanical engineer J Srinivasa Reddy turned to natural farming at his native place in Andhra Pradesh, in 2020. He spotted an opportunity in dehydration of fruits and vegetables, and built a simple solar dryer at home. Later, he began electrical drying to prepare shelf-stable products that now sell for up to ₹1,000/kg.
