After experimenting for two years, Gautam Raikar, an engineer, perfected the non-dairy millet ice cream in June 2023. These ice creams are extremely low in sugar, have zero cholesterol and no preservatives. His Bengaluru-based startup Liki Foods sells millet ice creams, shakes, smoothies and coffee frappes in bulk and through retail outlets in Bengaluru, clocking ₹2 lakh per month.
