Engineers make AI-mapped fruit fly brain play Super Mario & Doom

After Google mapped brain and central nervous system of adult male fruit fly, software engineers used the digital brain to make the fly play games including Doom, Super Mario 64 and Beat Saber. The experiments used neural activity and sensory stimuli to translate the brain's responses into game controls. Notably, scientists reconstructed over 1,66,000 neurons of fly's brain using AI.
