The Delhi High Court has ordered Union of India to ensure effective legal aid to Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, actress Celina Jaitly's brother, who has been detained in UAE since September 2024. The court issued notice to Ministry of External Affairs and asked officials to appoint nodal officer to coordinate communication between the family and authorities in the UAE.
