Entire Middle East on alert, US warns of wider war
US State Department issued a security alert for Middle East, saying, “Houthis have engaged in hostilities against Saudi Arabia…the conflict has the potential to escalate rapidly.” It urged people to reconsider travel to and through the region, citing possible flight cancellations. The advisory covers Israel, Iran, Iraq, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria.
