Shashi Bhushan Tiwari returned to his village in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, during COVID-19 after his trading business stopped. He started a button mushroom unit and now earns ₹2 lakh daily by selling 1700 kg of mushrooms. Apart from Bihar, his mushrooms go to the North Eastern states, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh while the unsold produce is canned at his unit.
