On a historic mission on May 19, 2024, Indian-born entrepreneur Gopi Thotakura rocketed into the history books, becoming the first citizen of India to embark on a space tourism flight. Thotakura, an Andhra Pradesh native and currently a resident of the united states, joined a crew of six people.
