Environmentalists create desks from idols discarded after Ganpati visarjan

Environmentalists Binish Desai and Malhar Kaalambe have created study tables by recycling Lord Ganesh idols discarded after Ganpati visarjan. They made 760 study tables for children from economically weaker families using 3,000 kg of plaster. "Seeing Bappa return as school desk, supporting children's education while protecting our environment, is one of the most fulfilling moments," Binish said.
