The US FDA has approved a nasal spray for serious allergic reactions that will serve as a critical alternative to EpiPen's auto-injector, helping to treat life-threatening allergies in those who are afraid of needles, doctors say. Known as Neffy, the nasal spray is designed to block allergic reactions, including a serious condition called anaphylaxis which can be fatal.
