Eros International Media sued filmmaker Anand L Rai and his banner Colour Yellow Media Entertainment, alleging they unlawfully used popularity of its 2013 movie 'Raanjhanaa' for the 2025 film 'Tere Ishk Mein'. Eros sought damages worth ₹84 crore for presenting the 2025 movie as a "spiritual sequel" to 'Raanjhanaa'. 'Tere Ishk Mein' teaser used "From the world of Raanjhanaa" phrase.
