Subhash Chandra-led Essel Group has reportedly sold two transmission assets owned by Essel Infraprojects to Sekura Energy, which is backed by Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus fund. This comes as the group, which has a debt of over ₹17,000 crore, is working to meet its obligations. Essel Group is also looking to divest 50% of its stake in Zee Entertainment.
