Estée Lauder to trim 3% of global workforce amid COVID-19

Make-up company Estée Lauder on Thursday said it is working on a two-year plan to adjust its investments after losing revenue during coronavirus pandemic. The company plans to lay off up to 2,000 employees worldwide, or about 3% of the total staff. Furthermore, 10% to 15% of Estée Lauder's free-standing stores and some department stores' beauty counters will be closed.
