European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen took to Twitter to share a picture from her meeting with ChatGPT maker OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman. "Glad to meet Sam Altman. AI can fuel huge progress and improve our lives...but we must mitigate risks and build trust," she wrote, adding that EU will work with global partners and stakeholders towards "trustworthy AI".
