The European Commission proposed suspending a trade agreement affecting about 5.8 billion euros (over ₹60,000 crore) of Israeli exports due to the Gaza war. The motion does not have enough support among the commission. However, it has also proposed package of sanctions on two Israeli ministers, "violent" Israeli settlers and 10 senior members of Palestinian militant group Hamas.
