An EU court upheld Italy's $854,250 (₹8.2-crore) penalty on Google over gambling advertisements on its platform YouTube. Google had challenged the fine levied by an Italian court and said it was not liable for content uploaded by third parties under EU rules. The court said Google was liable for content uploaded by a creator who had a deal with it.
