The European Union (EU) and Israeli representatives held senior-level talks on Monday, which is the first such meeting between the two sides in a decade. Ahead of the meeting, EU Diplomat Josep Borrell said the stalled Middle-East peace process and the situation in Palestine would be discussed. Quoting a United Nations report, he said the situation in Palestine was "worrisome''.
