Union Minister Jitendra Singh said, "The evacuation of the residents from areas close to the International Border (IB) is being carried out smoothly." This comes amid escalating tension between India and Pakistan. The administration is doing everything to make sure that no inconvenience is caused to any citizen and that transport facilities are provided free of cost, he added.
