An SDRF official said the temperature around the Air India plane crash site in Ahmedabad rose to such levels that it was nearly impossible for even dogs and birds in proximity of the area to escape in time. "It was so quick that even animals and birds got little time to escape," he was reported as saying by Hindustan Times.
