Mumbai-based EverSource Capital's CEO Dhanpal Jhaveri has said the company is looking to invest over $1 billion in renewable energy sector through its Green Growth Equity Fund. The NIIF of India and the UK government are anchor investors in the fund. EverSource Capital is a joint venture between private equity firm Everstone Capital and global solar project developer Lightsource.
