Everton put up for sale by Friedkin Group

Everton owner The Friedkin Group is considering selling the Premier League club. "The Friedkin Group is exploring new investment options for Everton Football Club, including the potential sale of a controlling interest," the Houston-based company, led by American billionaire Dan Friedkin, said in a statement on Friday. The group acquired Farhad Moshiri's 94.1% stake in Everton in December 2024.
