The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest and most sacred gatherings for Hindus. It takes place once every 12 years and this time around, it will be held in Prayagraj. It will begin on January 13 and conclude on February 26. This year’s Maha Kumbh is especially rare, as a mela like this occurs once every 144 years.
