Former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina was sentenced to six months in prison in a contempt of court case by the International Crimes Tribunal on Wednesday, a report stated. A three-member bench of the ICT-1 issued the verdict. This reportedly marks the first time when the ousted leader has been sentenced in any case since she left office and fled Bangladesh.
