BJP leader Shruti Choudhry, who is the granddaughter of former Haryana CM Bansi Lal, won from Tosham seat defeating her cousin Anirudh Chaudhary, who contested on Congress ticket, with a margin of over 14,000 votes. Shruti, who was earlier in Congress joined BJP with her mother Kiran Choudhry in June 2024. Anirudh is the former treasurer of BCCI.
