ED has arrested sacked DMK functionary Jaffer Sadiq at the Tihar Jail in connection with a drugs-linked money laundering investigation, official sources said Friday, June 28. He will be produced before a special PMLA court seeking his remand for custodial interrogation. He was first arrested in March for alleged involvement in smuggling pseudoephedrine with street value of ₹2,000 crore.
