An ex-Ford employee, who was fired over false allegations of stealing a ₹190 packet of cookies, has rejected the ₹32-lakh rehire amount offered by company after he was proven innocent. The 60-year-old was wrongly labelled a thief after a self-checkout kiosk showed he failed to pay for cookies during an overnight shift. He's now suing the automaker and cafeteria operator.
