Meta-backed Scale AI has named Francis DeSouza, former Google Cloud COO and President of Security Products at Google, as its new CEO, effective August 10. The move comes as Scale AI looks to expand its data and applications businesses. DeSouza will succeed interim CEO Jason Droege, who took charge after founder Alexandr Wang left to become Meta's Chief AI Officer.
