Former Gujarat minister & BJP MLA Gajendrasinh Parmar was booked on charges of rape following the directions of Gujarat High Court. The complainant moved the HC after police didn't register an FIR against Parmar. She alleged that Parmar called her to MLA quarters in July 2020 and established physical relations with her on the pretext of marrying her.
