Ex-Indian basketball team captain Jennifer Paes has passed away aged 72 after a long battle with cancer. She was the mother of Olympic medal-winning tennis player Leander Paes and the wife of Olympic medal-winning hockey player Vece Paes. "Her immense contribution to Indian Sports and her legacy will always be remembered," West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari wrote condoling her demise.
