Former captain of Indian kabaddi team and Arjuna Awardee, Deepak Hooda, got caught in strong currents of River Ganga after falling into it and was subsequently saved by Uttarakhand Police. The incident took place in Haridwar on Wednesday when Hooda got stuck in the river. A video shared by police shows officers grabbing Hooda in order to rescue him.
