Ex-Kerala Transport Minister and sitting MLA Antony Raju has been found guilty in a decades-old drug-tampering case, dating back to early-1990s. Raju, currently leader of the Janathipathya Kerala Congress and an ally of the ruling LDF, was convicted for his role in manipulating material evidence submitted before a court in connection with a drug case registered against an Australian national.
