West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari on Friday suspended former Kolkata Police Commissioner IPS Vineet Goyal, IPS Indira Mukherjee and IPS Abhishek Gupta over the alleged mishandling of the RG Kar Medical College rape and murder case. CM Suvendu alleged that the officers were involved in offering a bribe to the victim’s family. A departmental inquiry has been ordered against them.
