Ex-member of K-pop group NCT, Moon Taeil appealed for a decrease in his 3.5-year sentence on July 16. In his appeal, he wrote, "I want to contribute positively to society and will do my best to live a better life." The former singer was convicted, along with two other individuals, for rape of an unconscious woman in June 2024.
