A former senior clerk of the Hindol Sub-Treasury in Odisha's Dhenkanal district has been arrested for allegedly misappropriating ₹68.85 lakh in government funds. Manoranjan Sahoo allegedly diverted the money meant for family pension beneficiaries to his own bank account and to those of his relatives. Sahoo had been absconding for nearly two years.
