Ex-soldier found dead inside Kerala home, probe underway

Ex-soldier VG Santhosh Kumar, 56, was found dead in a decomposed state inside his home in Kerala's Alappuzha. Neighbours alerted police after noticing a foul smell. Santhosh Kumar had been living alone and was last seen on August 8. Police broke open the door, recovered the body and sent it to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital. Further investigation is underway.
