Ukraine's former Foreign Ministry State Secretary Oleksandr Bankov and other top officials have been charged with stealing $1.28 million in foreign donations intended to support Ukraine. Bankov allegedly persuaded international donors to channel funds to an NGO under his control, which the accused later used for their enrichment. Funds were intended to support Ukraine at the start of the war.
