Former Union Power Minister RK Singh resigned from the BJP after the party suspended him for "anti-party activities". "The letter doesn't specify the anti-party activities...it's probably because of my statement against distributing tickets to people with a criminal background," Singh said in his resignation letter. "The statement isn't anti-party, it's in the interest of the nation," he added.
