US-based birth control delivery startup Nurx has appointed Varsha Rao, former Airbnb Global Operations Head and recently COO of Google parent Alphabet-backed insurance startup Clover Health, as its CEO. Rao will replace Nurx Co-founder Hans Gangeskar, who has been its CEO since inception. Founded in 2014, Nurx offers on-demand birth control delivery and prescribes contraceptives through its app.
