Former Indian Army Chief General (Retired) Dalbir Singh Suhag has been appointed as India's next High Commissioner to the island nation of Seychelles. "He is expected to take up the assignment shortly," the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. He was the Army Chief from August 1, 2014, to December 31, 2016.
