Former Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao's resignation has been accepted by the Karnataka government. Rao, who was presently serving as the Additional Director General of Police, is likely to join the AAP on Monday. The 1990-batch IPS officer had cited personal reasons for the resignation. He was the city police chief between 2019 and 2020.
