Former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been given nearly 13 years in prison in a new corruption conviction. He was found guilty of accepting bribes in the form of a renovation of a farmhouse. He was sentenced to over 12 years in prison last year for accepting an apartment in return for contracts awarded to a firm.
