The Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday arrested a former CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for his alleged involvement in a ₹126-crore land scam. He has been charged with causing YEIDA a loss of ₹126 crore by unnecessarily purchasing 57 acres of land through several shell companies whose Boards of Directors included his family members and relatives.
