Exercise supports youth mental health: Study

A new study in Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry shows that resistance training and mixed exercise routines can significantly reduce depression and anxiety symptoms in children and teens. The findings support exercise as a practical, low-cost strategy to improve mental health and emotional well-being in young people.
