Former Haryana minister and Haryana Lokhit Party leader Gopal Kanda was acquitted in the 2012 suicide case of airhostess Geetika Sharma by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. Sharma, who was an airhostess in Kanda's MDLR Airlines, was found dead on August 5, 2012, at her Delhi residence. In the alleged suicide note, she blamed Kanda and another person for harassment.
