A court in Thailand has ordered self-exiled former PM Yingluck Shinawatra to pay 10 billion baht ($305 million) in damages over a rice scheme. The ruling follows Yingluck's appeal against a previous order to pay $1.07 billion. In 2017, she was handed a five-year prison sentence for corruption in rice subsidy scheme.
