Ex-Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai wins Lok Sabha polls from Haveri

Former Karnataka CM and BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai has won the ongoing Lok Sabha elections from Karnataka's Haveri constituency by 43,513 votes. Bommai's chief contender from the seat was Congress' Anandswamy Gaddadevarmath, who got 6.62 lakh votes. Bommai had replaced BJP leader Shivkumar Udasi, who has won from Haveri constituency since 2009 but isn't contesting the current elections.
