Exotic species of juvenile pythons and lizards were seized at the Chennai airport by customs officials on Thursday. The seized species include one green tree python and scrub python, two black tree monitor lizards, five emerald tree monitor lizards, two blue-spotted tree monitor lizards, one Reisinger tree monitor and four sailfin lizards. The officials detained two persons in this connection.
